I so don't get it. But I so want to go live in that world! It reminds me of a kinda bright post-apocaplyptic version of where I grew up. Any way, love the consistant texturing for both the detailed and more obscurred less important elements and love the feel.
I absolutely love your brush strokes. I've been doing slightly smoother work than I used to recently, mainly to expand on my skills, and I can't wait to get back to doing it all just for fun and making beautifully textured work!
A very interesting painting. The man's head's similarity to a carrot is amusing. I like how you chose to keep the background relatively simple as compared to the figures to give them a sharper focus. It makes the building more mysterious and interesting. Wonderful job
hhahaha..oh man i love the concept and the design of your imagination put to paper. (or screen in this case). the absurdity and yet it looks so perfectly natural. and the nice rusty colours combined with the scetchy lines. all is so wonderful.
i wish i knew the story behind this one..
yep, have to agree with ~Shmeva on this one: "it's amazing how you incorporated an old oil/acrylic style into your digital art."
i really like the wtf-content of your style: it makes me wonder wtf kind of world that is
still i like real paint better, because it's less smoothe, more tangible and it smells goood. but you didn't make it too clear and smooth, thats okay! leaves room for imagination.
did you edit a photo(s) for this one, the building, the guy? , .. don't want to nag about a work that i like, but maybe the clouds / smoke could use a little bit more work...
my compliments however!
oow.. well, you're very good at it anyway! i'd say, when you can find some time, try paint, or something, cause you'd probably do it nicely - since you know about light and shadow, composition, structure, texture etc (without photo;s so try!
